Who we are

BusinessWurth is a trading name of Tarryn Valle. Tarryn Valle is responsible for the personal information described in this policy (the "responsible party" under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act). You can contact us at support@businesswurth.com.

1. What we collect

Account information (name and email, via our authentication provider); the financial documents and business information you upload; the figures our system extracts from them; and basic usage information needed to operate the Service.

2. How we use it

To generate the valuation fact sheet you request, to operate and improve the Service, and to provide support if you contact us. We don't use your financial data for any purpose beyond producing your report.

3. AI-assisted processing

Your uploaded documents and figures are extracted and categorized using artificial intelligence. Your data is not used to train any AI model, ours or a third party's, and is not sold or shared for marketing purposes.

4. Marketing communications

Insights and marketing emails are an entirely separate, opt-in mailing list from your BusinessWurth product account. Signing up for one does not sign you up for the other. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and deleting your product account does not automatically unsubscribe you from the marketing list unless you choose that option when you delete your account.

5. Who we share it with

We use third-party providers to run the Service — for authentication, secure cloud storage, hosting, email, and AI-assisted extraction. They can access the data needed to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record: when you pay, Paddle collects your payment and billing details directly and handles them under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card details. We don't sell your data.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your documents, extracted figures, and reports are kept for as long as your account is active. From My Data, you can delete an individual document or business at any time, or delete your entire account — which permanently removes every business, document, extracted figure, report, and the account itself, and closes your sign-in.

7. International data transfers

Because BusinessWurth serves customers globally, your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including by the service providers listed above. We take reasonable steps to protect your information wherever it's processed.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise access, correction, and deletion directly from My Data at any time; for anything else, contact support@businesswurth.com.

9. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to process payment securely — no advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, this section will be updated to say so.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business owners and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date below will change when we do.
